There is a special place in New Balance fans hearts for the 997. First introduced in 1991, it suddenly disappeared from the radar in the mid-90s to only be re-released in 2014. Inspired by nautical voyages and vintage schooners, this ‘Explore by Sea’ pack is constructed in USA from premium pig suede with mesh and Horween leather details. In fact, the dark brown leather on creme suede combo is so beautiful, that we basically could not resist.
